SUMMER YOUTH CLINIC INFORMATION
June 1st, 2008 - The Beach Bums Baseball Academy is pleased to announce it will host five Summer Youth Clinics in 2008. Each of the five dates corresponds with a Beach Bums home game, and each participant who registers for that day's clinic will also receive four free tickets to the Beach Bums game that night.
The Academy will also be sponsoring each of the five Beach Bums home games, giving out Academy logo baseballs to the first 500 fans through the gates. Single game tickets for the Beach Bums don't go on sale until April, but you can ensure yourself tickets for these five dates by registering your child for a youth clinic.
Dates: 7/22, 7/29, 8/12, 8/19
Time: 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. each day
Ages: 12 and under
Cost: $65 for one day, $300 for all five
Participants: Limited to 50 per day
Instructors: Beach Bums players and coaches
Includes:
Four (4) free chair back tickets to that night's Beach Bums home game - a $40 value!
One (1) free Beach Bums Baseball Academy logo baseball, perfect for autographs - a $10 value!
Two hours of instruction by Beach Bums players and coaches - a $60 value!

ST. FRANCIS IS BACK-TO-BACK WINTER LEAGUE CHAMPS
March 10th, 2008 - Traverse City St. Francis won the 2007-2008 Winter Hitting League on Sunday, defeating Central Lake #1 in the semi-finals, 43-29, and Onekema #1 in the Championship Game, 37-23. Onekema #1 advanced with a 19-13 victory over Team Plattski.
St. Francis team member Justin Wojtkowiak took home League MVP honors for the second straight year (Wotjkowiak is pictured above, on left, with teammate Joel Lints). The League All-Star team consisted of Hunter Slade (Onekema #1), Ryan Crawley (Central Lake #1), and Ray Platts (Team Plattski).

January 7th, 2008 - The Academy is pleased to announce a new referral program that will help you and your friends get ready for the upcoming baseball season. From now until April 1st, if you refer one of your friends to the Academy and they buy any one of our several lesson packages or pre-season packages, you will receive a FREE 60-minute Private Lesson.

ALL-REGION TEAM HIGHLIGHTS SEVERAL ACADEMY MEMBERS
June 24th, 2007 - Several local players to train at the Beach Bums Baseball Academy have been honored by the Traverse City Record Eagle in their annual All-Region Team announced on June 24th.
PHOTO - Danny Brick, member of the Academy's Winter Hitting League Championship team of St. Francis, was named to the Traverse City Record Eagle's All-Region First Team.
